While 2020 may have gone by without a Marvel movie hitting cinemas, there could be good news for the MCU for 2021. Just in, we got the reminder that the Man without Fear is actually coming back to the main Marvel net very soon.
As pointed out by Culture Crave, Marvel Studios is set to regain the rights to Daredevil this month.
We don't know exactly what Marvel has in store for the Daredevil IP, but a lot of fans have been very eager to have Matt Murdock appear in the upcoming Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland—possibly as Peter Parker's legal defense after he's outed as Spider-Man.
While nothing official has been confirmed by Marvel, we do know that the studio has their ear to the ground when it comes to what fans want, and a crossover between Daredevil and Spider-Man is very well near the top of that list.
Though there are some fans who want to bring back the Netflix show, I think it's really best to make a soft reboot of the character. At best, they should bring back a lot of the principal cast especially Charlie Cox, but the way the Marvel Netflix timeline is, it's probably the right move to just disregard all the shenanigans with the ninjas and Elektra.
If anything, the appearance of Doctor Strange and the introduction of a multi-verse could very well be Daredevil's way into the MCU. The possibilities are endless for now, but hopefully Marvel finds the right way to reintroduce the Man without Fear.
For now, Marvel fans wait for the release of WandaVision which hits Disney+ before the end of the year.
