Last December, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige officially confirmed that the Fantastic Four is coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and since then, fans have been pretty ecstatic to see how the studio will handle the First Family. Of course, we all know that the previous F4 films failed to hit the mark with fans and critics alike but given the studio's track record, it's safe to say that Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johhny Storm, and Ben Grimm are in good hands.

For years now, fans have been debating about which actors should make up the Fantastic Four in the project and the dream castings have not been consistent for the most part. Now, after the Marvel superhero team became a hot trending topic on Twitter all of a sudden, fans are lobbying for actor William Jackson Harper to lead the project as Reed Richards aka Mister Fantastic.

William would be an intriguing choice for sure and it's almost a guarantee that if ever he ends up getting the role, a lot of people from the fandom would be scratching their heads. Then again, a move like this which could be deemed controversial wouldn't be so surprising considering Marvel Studios is pushing for diversity in the franchise. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The MCU's Fantastic Four reboot is in active development.
