Mark Ruffalo might be hoping to see more of the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it seems like there are a few fans out there who haven't really enjoyed the Avengers: Endgame star's iteration of the Marvel Hero, hoping that Edward Norton might reprise the role instead.
Yesterday, word broke out that Ruffalo had already pitched a Wolverine vs. Hulk movie to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige saying that he believed that Bruce Banner had more stories to be told in the MCU. Cosmic Book News wrote about the topic and shared it to its followers on Facebook, and according to the entertainment news outlet, Marvel fans don't really seem too keen on the idea of more movies with Ruffalo as the Hulk.
Comments made by the publication's followers indicate that fans didn't really enjoy the trajectory that Hulk has had in the MCU. Not only have these fans criticized Marvel for turning Hulk into Professor Hulk, but they've also called Ruffalo's iteration of the Avenger as the worst in the history of the franchise. These fans seem to want to see Norton return as the Hulk.
For those who haven't been following the MCU closely enough, Norton came before Ruffalo, appearing in the 2008 Marvel movie, The Incredible Hulk. Not only did critics praise the film for its visuals and action sequences, but fans loved Norton's portrayal of the character.
However, Norton who was set to reprise his role as Bruce Banner in the 2012 The Avengers later on found himself replaced by Ruffalo.
Would you like to see more of Ruffalo's Hulk or would you want Norton to take over the role? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
