Things took a violent turn in Washington after Donald Trump's avid supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in support of the current United States President. The incident resulted in mayhem and it looks so unreal, it feels as if it was taken straight from a catastrophic movie. We're not quite sure how exactly the riots began but some fans are claiming that they saw Marvel actor Chris Pratt leading the charge in DC.

Although it still hasn't been confirmed, rumors have been swirling for years now that the Guardians of the Galaxy star is a Trump supporter and he's been called out for it in the past. His decision not to participate in Joe Biden's Marvel fundraiser last October fueled the speculation even more. Apart from that, Pratt has been accused of being a white supremacist and an anti-LGBTQ.

Naturally, the rumors surrounding Pratt's showing up at the riots infuriated Marvel diehards, and the actor was once again lambasted to oblivion by fans on social media. Taking to Twitter, people are calling out Pratt anew for his alleged involvement in the Capitol protests. Do you think he was actually there in the flesh? Check out some of the reactions below:

The Pratt sightings have yet to be confirmed so take this one with a huge grain of salt. For all we know, this could just be a case of mistaken identity as previous reports claim that Chris is already on his way to Australia to film Thor: Love and Thunder. Chris has yet to address the growing backlash and it's not looking great for the actor.

Meanwhile, Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in 2022.
