Marvel Celebrates the Original Star Wars Trilogy with Age of Rebellion

Now that the Age of Republic is coming to an end, Marvel Comics is preparing for the next phase in this epic Star Wars event and it will make a lot of fans happy. Called Star Wars: Age of Rebellion, this series of one-shots will celebrate the original trilogy and the characters that were a big part of this era. The series of one-shots is set for release this April and will continue through May before ending in June.

All of the Age of Rebellion one-shots will be written by Greg Pak, the brilliant writer who gave us Planet Hulk, World War Hulk, and the surprisingly entertaining Mutants of Mass Destruction. He is also working on the three-issue series Hulkverines, which sounds ridiculous but could be really good.

Age of Rebellion will continue in May with Han Solo #1, Boba Fett #1, Lando Calrissian #1, and Jabba the Hutt #1. June will be the finale of this, for the lack of a better word, Age, with Luke Skywalker #1 and Darth Vader #1. Pretty appropriate huh?
