MARS RED Episode 4 has just aired on Funimation. As always, it's been full of action, artistically sound, and, of course, quite sad. While the pacing of MARS RED isn't for everyone, we've reached this point where one can't help caring about the characters and their future.

MARS RED Overview and Episode 4 Recap
MARS RED is unique in that it's based on a stage reading play and its manga adaptation. In 1923, following the changes brought about by WWI, Japan is moving towards a new era of technology and industrialization. But there's a twist, and an exciting one unless you're the one troubled by it, of course; a vampire problem.
The main character Yoshinobu Maeda is called back on duty to tackle said problem along with Code Zero, a secret group partly comprising vampires who haunt their own.
Warning: If you haven't watched MARS RED Episode 4 yet, please skip to the next section for now, as there will be spoilers below.
In Episode 4, Code Zero investigates the death of a prostitute at the hands of vampires. Kurusu, a relatively new vampire, still struggles with his powers and doesn't like the idea of killing. Maeda warns him that this softness might cost him and his friends.
While investigating, Suwa falls in love with a prostitute, whom he keeps at a distance, fearing what his vampiric powers could do to her. Unfortunately, this is not enough to save her from a hoard of vampires - sadly before her request to hear Suwa sing was granted.
With Yamagami in grave danger, Kurusu finds the will to fight and save his friend.
MARS RED Episode 5Release Date
MARS RED airs every Tuesday on Funimation. Episode 5 will be released on the 4th of May for premium Funimation users. You might be able to access the episode from Monday the 3rd of April, depending on your time zone.
Those streaming Funimation shows for free will have to wait until the 11th of May for the newest episode, but episode 4 will have become available to everyone by the 4th.

MARS RED Episode 5 will air on the 4th of May at 1:59 AM JST. Should these times remain correct, the episode will air on Funimation around an hour earlier. This means that Episode 5 will air in different time zones at or around the following times:
