Mark Tuan will be the first GOT7 member to make a comeback this year.

When GOT7 members left JYP in 2021, they decided to continue working as a group even if they signed with other agencies and labels. So far, they dropped their most recent single, Encore, in February before allowing members to focus on their solo careers for now.

Jinyoung, Jackson Wang, Jay B, BamBam, Yugyeom, Young Jae, and Mark Tuan are now part of different companies.

On Mark Tuan’s official Twitter account, the K-pop idol shared two photos of him as he hyped fans with its January 21 release.

The photoset features Mark Tuan wearing a white, loose top and pants. In the first picture, he spreads his arms as he reclines in a white piano with one of his feet resting on top of a hollow block. The next one shows a gloomier idol while wearing what-looks-like-a ripped white long sleeves, highlighting his great physique.

The sneak peek came days after he teased fans with a 15-second screen recording of his phone. He asked fans when he should drop the song. A then-untitled piano music played in the background.

Fans immediately discovered at that time that the song’s title would be “My Life” after searching for the track using Shazam. It also has never-before-seen cover art and the full track. However, it remains unavailable and cannot be played.

The song will follow his hit song Last Breath and solo debut One in a Million.

Will GOT7 Also Have a Comeback?

As the members continuously expand their solo careers, fans could not help but ask whether they would also return as a group soon.

While there is no concrete plan yet, GOT7 members constantly remind them to wait for them and trust them in the process. For instance, Jackson Wang assured through an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Korea that they will stay together for the foreseeable future.

“GOT7 will continue, and nothing has changed,” he said, as translated by Soompi. “Before, I had to do solo activities, team activities and company management in 24 hours, but now, I just have a bit more leeway.”

For now, Ahgases can enjoy the members’ individual returns while waiting for GOT7 to officially mark their comeback.
