It looks like Mark Ruffalo's all in for diversity and representation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Earlier this week, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed that the studio had plans to introduce the very first trans character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through The Eternals. Ruffalo heard the news and couldn't help but share his excitement over the idea of having more LGBTQ representation in the comic book movie franchise.
Heading over to Twitter, the Avengers: Endgame star shared a whole lot of eagerness over the announcement, tweeting out "Go Marvel" after sharing an article on the news by The Huffington Post.

Marvel really has been trying to take even more steps at diversity and representation. The studio has been applauded over the past two years for breaking ground with films like Black Panther, the MCU's first all-Black comic book movie, and then Captain Marvel, the franchise's very first female-led entry.
The studio plans to continue its efforts at representation. Marvel has quite a number of diverse films on its plate for Phase 4 of the MCU. There's Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson's very first standalone movie as Natasha Romanoff. There's The Eternals which promises to bring Marvel's very first queer superhero. There's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings which brings fans the MCU's first Asian lead actor. There's also Ms. Marvel set to premiere on Disney+.
We're really glad that the face of Hollywood is changing, bringing in more characters of color and characters from other minority groups.
Phase 4 of the MCU begins when Black Widow premieres on May 1, 2020.
