Just when you thought you already knew every bit of information there is to know about the Star Wars universe, one of the longest-running science-fiction franchises will continue to astonish you with facts that most of us are only learning about today. Take for instance Mark Hamill, who recently took to Twitter to express his shock and delight after finding out a crazy original trilogy fact about his iconic character Luke Skywalker.

Turns out, the young Jedi asked a total of 118 questions during the original trilogy's run from 1978 to 1983. We're not sure though if it includes Luke's involvement in the dreadful Star Wars Holiday Special but it's a surprising fact when you think about it.

Sharing the tweet, Hamill wrote: "I gotta smile to think of someone actually sitting through the whole trilogy just to count & keep track of how many questions I asked! Unless they did it out loud. That's just rude & irritating & probably ruined those movies for the entire audience, which I frown upon."

Meanwhile, speaking of Luke, it'll be interesting to see if he'll continue to be involved in the MandoVerse now that we've learned that Grogu abandoned the Jedi way to be with Din Djarin. It's worth noting that Luke was rumored to headline his own Star Wars spinoff show on Disney+ along with the Force-wielding child but now that Baby Yoda made his life-altering decision, it looks like a reunion between him and Luke is out of the table.

The original Star Wars trilogy is available for streaming on Disney+.
