I think we can all agree that Luke Skywalker will forever be synonymous with Star Wars and it's quite astonishing how Mark Hamill's character, who made his official debut over 40 years ago in A New Hope continues to influence the franchise through his involvement in several projects.

Outside film and television, merchandise based on the beloved protagonist also continues to be a hot commodity with kids and even kids-at-heart. However, it's typically a hit-or-miss situation when it comes to the items Disney puts out and Hamill himself found that out firsthand, on social media of all places.

On Twitter, a specific item shared by a fan caught the attention of the Hollywood legend — a Star Wars plush doll depicting Luke in his Squadron outfit. Typically, plushies are aesthetically endearing but not the said item which looks nothing like the actor.

Reposting the tweet, Hamill wrote: "This likeness would only be acceptable if Luke had been played by Charlie Brown. #GoodGrief". It's safe to say that the actor wasn't that thrilled with how his merch turned out. Check out his hilarious response below:

Meanwhile, Luke's MandoVerse status remains in doubt, especially after Grogu decided that he wants to reunite with Din Djarin. However, rumor has it that the Jedi Master will be making an appearance in the upcoming Ahsoka show, and considering how well-received their interaction in The Book of Boba Fett was, it doesn't seem impossible that we'll see Luke and Ahsoka share some screen time again in the future.
