The Mandalorian & Grogu movie breaks tradition after unveiling its brand new logo, as showcased during the D23 2024 Disney fan event last weekend. Here's what Star Wars fans may have yet to notice about the rebrand.
The Mandalorian and Grogu Changes Its Longtime Series Logo
For the longest time, all seasons of The Mandalorian on Disney+ without fail included the Mando and Grogu in the intro logo.
From soft sunset colors of pink, orange, and yellow, fans can always appreciate the small changes in the detail of The Mandalorian title card depicting the journey of Din Djarin.
However, this time, upon debuting The Mandalorian & Grogu movie, the logo morphed into something more endearing in celebration of the 5-year-old running series.
As D23 2024 attendees noticed, The Mandalorian title card usually had softer colors with Din Djarin and Grogu in the picture. Specifically in front of the second letter "A."
For the Mando's highly anticipated flick, however, the Mando and Grogu are seen walking towards the light in the letter "O", instead.
In case some have yet to notice, the image of Din and Grogu usually had them facing the front of the screen with their on-screen suit. The movie teases the iconic duo walking into the radiating light as they face their tomorrow together.
Although Lucasfilm has yet to address what pushed its decision to create this logo change, it does show that Din and Grogu are halfway through traveling together. Perhaps to pay tribute to the 5-year show since its debut year in 2019.
