Maisie Williams Wraps Filming for Game of Thrones 8

Emilia Clarke had just recently shared that she has finished shooting here scenes for the final season of Game of Thrones, and it's no mystery that her co-stars will be posting about it soon. Now Maisie Williams has confirmed that he is officially done with her role of Arya Stark.

She posted this on Instagram:

With Arya starting out as a young girl in the series, Williams is one of those actresses that we actually get to see grow up as the show goes along. From the defenseless little girl who had to watch her father get executed in Season One, Arya has become one formidable force, a trained assassin in the ways of the Many-Faced God.

Following Arya's harrowing adventures for seven years now, the audience is really hopeful that the Starks will actually have a satisfying end to their story with Game of Thrones 8. Then again, it wouldn't be Game of Thrones if someone we deeply cared for didn't end up getting maimed or killed.

For now, no specific release date has been set for Season 8. Since the show did skip out on releasing a season this year, it's possible we could come back earlier next year. Then again, I won't really complain about delays as long as we get a quality end to the series.

Game of Thrones 8 comes out sometime next year.
