Part 2 of Good Trouble Season 5 was released today and avid fans of the show have welcomed the return of its cast. But despite the episodes, it seems like there is something that avid viewers only noticed today: Maia Mitchell and the scar on her head.
Because of this, fans are eager to know whether the scar has always been there or if it's a new one. Here's what we know about this.
Does Maia Mitchell Have a Scar on Her Head?
Viewers of the show only noticed Maia Mitchell's scar on her head upon the release of Good Trouble Season 5 Part 2. Because of this, they are wondering whether this is a birthmark or a scar that has always been there ever since the show started in 2019.
Over on Reddit, the actress' fans shared more details about their observation and pointed out that this is not a birthmark but a scar that the actress got when she was a baby or a toddler.
The commenter shared that the actress fell when she was young and had to get stitches for it.
Of course, it's important to take this with a grain of salt since Mitchell has not openly addressed the scar on her head.
But according to her fans on the Reddit post, she may be more comfortable in her skin now, which is why she isn't covering up the scar with make-up.
Is Maia Mitchell Back in Good Trouble Season 5 Part 2?
Back in 2022, Mitchell penned a hearty farewell to her Good Trouble fans and colleagues as she decided to leave the show. She decided to leave so she could return to Australia and visit her family, whom she wasn't able to see during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The actress wrote: "So, with that, it is time to start a new chapter and bid farewell to Good Trouble."
She also shared with Entertainment Weekly that it was a "really tough decision" after four seasons and has been on the show for nine years as Callie Adams Foster.
Her departure from the show was seen in Good Trouble Season 4 Episode 2: Kiss Me and Smile for Me with her character boarding a plane to pursue her dream job in Washington, D.C.
Fortunately, the actress kept her promise and returned to the show for Good Trouble Season 5. After all, this is the final season of Good Trouble. It would only make sense to have the original stars return for one last time.
