It looks like we'll have to wait a little longer for Blade's return. Marvel Studios has just pushed back the release date of two untitled films, one of which could be Mahershala Ali's Blade reboot.

There is little doubt that the Blade reboot has been one of the most highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe projects since it was announced in 2019. Although it had already been confirmed to be in development, the movie was not given an official release date just yet.

Things may have changed during Disney Investor Day when an untitled Marvel film was given a release date set for 2022. At first, there were speculations that the movie would be either Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania or Blade. However, it has since been confirmed that the Ant-Man sequel will premiere in 2023. With that in mind, fans were now expecting Blade to be announced before the end of the year.

Unfortunately, Marvel Studios has made some changes to its upcoming projects. The Disinsider reports that the untitled movie that was set to premiere on October 7, 2022, has now been pushed back to October 6, 2023. In addition to that, the project set for November 3, 2023 release will now hit theaters just a week later on November 10, 2023.

This isn't exactly surprising considering that Blade is still in development. In addition to that, Ali is the only name attached to the project so far. Hopefully, we'll be getting some positive updates about the movie soon.
