Marvel fans went wild when Marvel announced that Academy Award-winning actor Mahershala Ali would be playing their favorite daywalker in an upcoming Blade reboot. Fans have been petitioning for another Blade movie for years, and while many were hoping that Wesley Snipes would return to reprise his role as Marvel's human-vampire hybrid, everyone loved the idea of having Ali take over the mantle.
While little is known about Marvel's upcoming Blade project, new fan art helps add to the hype for the upcoming movie. Thanks to Apexform, fans get to see what Green Book actor Mahershala Ali might look like when he takes on the role of everyone's favorite vampire hunter. The artist tries to imagine Blade in a movie against Jared Leto's Morbius – the vampire that everyone's going to see in the upcoming entry from Sony's Universe of Marvel Characters.
In the picture, fans get to see Ali in a coat raising his sword as Blade. It's a minimal art piece, but it's still pretty cool.

Details about Ali's Blade movie are currently under wraps, however, many believe that the project will be set to premiere sometime during Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. That means that fans are going to have to wait a while for Ali to become everyone's favorite vampire hunter, but remember, good things come to those who wait.
