Magic: The Gathering Teases Game Awards Sneak Peek With Game of Thrones Composer Ramin Djawadi

Wizards of the Coast is planning to reveal something big for Magic: The Gathering at the 2019 Game Awards this Thursday, and it looks like Game of Thrones and Westworld score composer Ramin Djawadi is involved in it.

The official Magic: The Gathering Twitter account just tweeted a sneak peek at what WotC will be revealing at Thursday's Game Awards, and the tweet tagged Djawadi but didn't say how the German score composer is involved. The tweet feautres a look at Elspeth whose head is partially under dark waters, and the tweet's caption reads: "We've come directly from the underworld to give you a little peek at what we're revealing at @thegameawards on 12/12." with the hashtag #MTGTheros.

Whatever they're revealing obviously has something to do with the upcoming MTG set Theros Beyond Death. It could be a new trailer for the set featuring music by Djawadi or maybe a teaser trailer for the upcoming Netflix animated series. Whatever it is, we expect it to be epic. Djawadi has composed some of the most iconic scores we've heard from popular films and TV shows like Iron Man, Warcraft, Pacific Rim, Game of Thrones, Westworld, and Prison Break among others.

The 2019 Game Awards will take place in the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, December 11, 2019. You can watch it live on twitch.tv/thegameawards.
