Magic: The Gathering professional player Andrea Mengucci has won the first-ever Mythic Invitational and $250,000 top prize at PAX East. The Italian player has dominated the top 4 double elimination tournament on Sunday, defeating Piotr Glogowsky in the finals.

Mengucci ran Mono White aggro and Esper Control for the finals. His Mono-White deck managed to defeat both of Piotr Glogowski's Mono-Blue and Mono-Red decks. Unbreakable Formation seems to be an essential game-winning card in the tournament.

Mengucci is a member of the Magic Pro League, and he won the 2015 Magic World Cup as a member of Team Italy.

When Becca Scott asked Mengucci what advice would he give to Magic players, he said, "You have to dedicate to the game, and the game will give you back."
