Magic: The Gathering Players Are Showing Off Their Brews For The New Pioneer Format

Earlier this week, Wizards of the Coast announced the new nonrotating Magic: The Gathering format called Pioneer, which features cards from Return to Ravnica and forward, and the current banlist includes the five fetch lands: "Bloodstained Mire", "Flooded Strand", "Polluted Delta", "Windswept Heath", and "Wooded Foothills"

With four Grand Prix events already confirmed to use the Pioneer format for Q1 2020, players already know that Wizards of the Coast is seriously supporting the new format, so fans are already brewing some Pioneer decks and shared their brews on social media. We've already shared some of the Pioneer decks here, but now we have more brews you might want to check out and test on Magic Online or on tabletop.

Kazcangi brewed up this scary blue/white Spirits deck with "Smuggler's Copter" and "Teferi, Hero of Dominaria":

Pioneer even has its own version of Affinity with "Hardened Scales", "Stonecoil Serpent", "Walking Ballista", and "Hangarback Walker".

Wizards of the Coast still has no plans to add Pioneer to Magic Arena but you can play it on Magic Online and tabletop now
