Time to gather your common cards and build a Pauper deck!

Channelfireball has added Pauper events for its January 2018 Magic: The Gathering Grands Prix. The California-based company announced the news on Twitter after Tolarian Community College shared CFB's question asking which city would be the ideal location for the Pauper format.

Here are the tweets:

Just in case you don't know, Pauper is a Magic format where only cards with common rarity are legal.

Here's a list of cards banned in the format:

Cloud of Faeries
Cloudpost
Cranial Plating
Empty the Warrens
Frantic Search
Grapeshot
Invigorate
Peregrine Drake
Temporal Fissure
Treasure Cruise

So that means Grand Prix Santa Clara (January 5-7), Grand Prix Indianapolis (Jan. 19-21), Grand Prix Houston (Jan. 26-28), and Grand Prix London (Jan. 26-28) will have Pauper events.
