Magic: The Gathering Mythic Invitational Coverage & PAX East War of the Spark Panel Details Revealed

The $1 million Magic: The Gathering Mythic Invitational is finally happening at PAX East this week, and fans online can watch it on Twitch.tv/magic live beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 11:30 a.m. Today, Wizards of the Coast have announced the broadcast team for the Mythic Invitational as well as the details for the War of the Spark panel at the Boston event.

The broadcast team for the first-ever Mythic Invitational includes Sean "Day9" Plott, Brian Kibler, Paul Cheon, AliasV, David Williams, Marshall Sutcliffe, Elle Osili-Wood, and Becca Scott.

That's a good mix of the usual Magic; The Gathering event coverage and online personalities.

There will also be a War of the Spark panel that will feature Magic: The Gathering's upcoming set and Wizards of the Coast announced that 16 new cards from the set will be revealed during the panel as well as the full trailer for War of the Spark, so we'll probably find out about the epic storyline of War of the Spark during the panel, which will also be live-streamed at Twitch.tv/magic.

The panel will be hosted by Jimmy Wong of the Command Zone and Game Knights. War of the Spark creative lead Doug Beyer, set design lead Dave Humphreys, and art director Taylor Ingvarsson will also be there.

The PAX East Mythic Invitational will take place on March 28-31 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. War of the Spark will be released on May 3, 2019. It's the third of a series of consecutive sets set in Ravnica.
