Magic: The Gathering Mythic Championship VII Challengers Reveal Fun Facts About Themselves

The final Mythic Championship of the year will bring together 68 of the best Magic: The Gathering competitors to compete for their share of the $750,000 prize pool. 36 Challengers and 32 Magic Pro League members will play in the three-day MTG Arena tournament, and Wizards of the Coast has shared some fun facts about 6 of the Mythic Championship VII Challengers.

Over on Twitter, the Magic Esports Twitter account shared a clip revealing fun facts about these 6 Challengers: Dmitriy Bukatov, Beatriz Grancha, Stephen Croke, Chris Pikula, Ally Warfield, and Miguel Guerrero. It's interesting to know that we have a Parchis champion, a vegetarian for 25 years, someone who earned a scholarship to play soccer in college, and a Mixed Martial Arts fighter competing in this spectacular tournament. This shows the incredibly diverse backgrounds of MTG's top competitors.

The Mythic Championship VII will take place at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, California on December 6-8. The format of the three-day Magic Arena tournament is Traditional Best-of-Three Constructed Standard.
