Magic: The Gathering Hypes Up Mythic Championship VII With A New Trailer


The final Magic: The Gathering Mythic Championship of the year is happening at Long Beach, California this weekend, and to get fans hyped for the Magic Arena tournament, Wizards of the Coast has released a new trailer featuring MTG professional players Reid Duke, Brian-Braun Duin, Lee Shi-Tian, Stansilav Cifka, Gabriel Nassif, and Chris Kvartek. Of course, the tournament will have more competitors than that (67 total since one player dropped due to Visa issues).

The trailer features various footages from previous MTG Arena Mythic Championships, and ends with the "One Last Shot" image and the hashtag "#FindYourChampion".

The next big event after the MCVII is the 2019 Magic World Championships, which will take place on February 2020.

The Mythic Championship VII will take place at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, California on December 6-8. The format of the three-day Magic Arena tournament is Traditional Best-of-Three Constructed Standard.
