Magic: The Gathering Double Masters VIP Edition Now Up on Amazon & It's More Expensive Than Expected


The VIP Edition of the Magic: The Gathering Double Masters set is now available for preorder on Amazon, and the listing reveals the contents and price of each pack of Wizards of the Coast's premium product.

For $102.60, each Double Masters VIP Edition comes with 33 cards, 2 tokens (4 Rares of Mythic Rares), 23 of which are foil. Here are the details of the contents: 2 foil showcase rares or mythic rares; 2 foil rares or mythics; 8 foil uncommons; 9 foil commons; 12 full-art basic lands (2 are foil); 2 foil double-sided, according to the product description on Amazon.

The description reads: "Full of high-powered reprints and fan favorites, Double Masters contains the some of the most beloved - and feared - Magic: The Gathering cards ever created."

This is not the first time the product details of the Double Masters VIP Edition were revealed; Last month, Gamenerdz.com revealed that each box comes with 4 packs, and it costs $369.97 with its original price listed at $479.96. At around $370, that's about $90 per pack. The Amazon preorder price is $10 more than what Gamenerdz listed.
