Magic: The Gathering Designers Reveal Hint For New White Card From Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths

Senior Magic: The Gathering Designer Gavin Verhey continues to tease us with more details from the upcoming expansion, Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths, and today, he released a hilarious new video on his Twitter account in which he interviews the "White Council of Colors representiative" Ari Nieh about what we expect from the future of the white in Commander and other formats.

"So many awesome things! Persistent card advantage, new forms of interaction," Nieh said. "It's going to be tasty!"

When asked about what white card in Ikoria he's most excited about, Nieh didn't exactly reveal the card, but he shared this hint: "This card grants all your creatures an ability, which is a former keyword, with one letter removed, and two new letters in its place."

Watch the video below:

First word that popped in my mind when I heard that hint is "banding" but it could be anything, so what do you think is that former keyword? Let us know in the comments section below.

Yesterday, Verhey shared a hint for a unique red card from Ikoria with Jules Robins.

Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths is officially scheduled to be released on May 15 (rescheduled release day).
