Magic: The Gathering Arena Red Bull Untapped Event Unleashes A Cool Trailer

Red Bull is teaming up with Wizards of the Coast and FACEIT to sponsor four Mythic Championship Qualifiers (MCQ) for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering Mythic Championship VI in Richmond, Virginia.

The MTG Mythic Championship Qualifiers for the Red Bull Untapped event will begin this weekend, July 29, and it will be streamed on Red Bull's Twitch channel. Live coverage will begin at 2 a.m. CT.


There will be offline MCQ tournaments that will be held in Florence, Italy on July 6, and Brussels, Belgium on July 7, and they will also be livestreamed, starting at 2 a.m. CT. The winners and runner-ups from each of the four MCQ events (top 8) will compete live in London on Aug. 4 at 12 p.m. CT. There will be a $60K prize pool at the finals

The format of the MTG Arena matches will be best-of-three Standard, followed by single elimination brackets. The MCQs in Belgium and Florence will feature three rounds Modern Horizons Draft, five rounds of Modern Constructed format, and the top eight will compete in head-to-head Modern matches.


MTG Arena Untapped tournaments are not requiring any decklists and players can switch decks between matches. For more information about Red Bull Untapped, click here.

You can watch the coverage of the MCQ Red Bull Magic: The Gathering Untapped tournaments on Red Bull's Twitch channel. The two MTG Arena qualifiers will take place on June 29 and 30 while the Belgium and Italy tournaments will take place on July 6 and 7. The final MCQ Untapped event will take place in London on August 4, and the winner will get an invite to the Magic: The Gathering Mythic Championship VI in Richmond, Virginia on Nov. 8 to 10, and the event will have a $500K prize pool.
