Magic: The Gathering 2020 MagicFest Promo Forest Art Revealed

2020 is going to be an exciting year for Magic: The Gathering. In addition to the new competitive structure and the new MTG format, next year's MagicFest events will also be offering new promo basic land cards, and today, MTG hall-of-famer Reid Duke has revealed the art for one of them.

Over on Twitter, Duke shared the new promo Forest art by Jonas De Ro, and it looks gorgeous! Check it out:

If you notice the background of the art shows a stadium that's actually Valor's Reach on Kylem, the plane depicted in the Battlebond set.

"Keep a lookout for the other basic lands by following my wonderful teammates on Team @ChannelFireball," Duke said, confirming that there will be other promo basic lands that will be available in 2020 Magicfests. If you're wondering who his teammates in Team ChannelFireBall are, you can check out the full roster here.

The other 2020 MagicFest promo basic lands will probably be set in Kylem's stadium as well. Valor's Reach has an ever-changing landscape so it can pretty much feature any of the basic lands. Could the art be a sign that Magic will be returning to Kylen in an upcoming set soon?
