Warning: Magic: The Gathering card and possible lore spoilers ahead.

Magic: The Gathering is bringing back its traditional core set this year with the release of Core Set 2019, but not much has been revealed about the set except for a couple of key artworks featuring Nicol Bolas and Tezzeret. However, MoxMoonStone on Twitter revealed the M19 common cards he recently opened that were mixed in with a booster box of Dominaria. As expected, they include reprints of familiar cards like Tormenting Voice, Cancel and Anticipate.

Check out all the cards revealed in the tweet below:

These cards don't really reveal anything about what story the set will focus on if there is any (since Magic core sets aren't known for having big events in its lore). However, Redditor Squirrelisinmyhair recently pointed out Jay Anneli's theory about Core 2019's revelation: the plans of Nicol Bolas.

"I mean that I think the next best answer, given Bolas being featured in the Core Set, is that this is where we get the explanation for all the pieces of the plan coming together," Anneli explained. "The behind the scenes of what we've only glimpsed from the outside."

This makes a lot of sense since Bolas's plans are coming together - over the past four blocks, he acquired an undead army, a planar portal, a powerful artifact from Ixalan, and presumably, if the card "In Bolas's Clutches" is to be taken seriously, ownership rights of Liliana's soul. Whatever his plans are, it wouldn't be surprising if they were revealed in Core 2019.

Core 2019 is set to be released on July 13, 2018. Dominaria is now available.
