Mad For Each Other is the story of two neighbors, No Hwi-oh, a detective, and Lee Min-kyung, a woman who seems to have disturbingly similar anger management issues The two don't particularly like each other at first, but when they realize they share the same psychiatrist, it becomes apparent that the two are more similar than you would initially think. When their paths cross time and again, they slowly become attracted to each other.
While the enemies to lovers trope are by no means new, this is a very stylish series that has become a comfortable watch for many drama fans.
Episode 9 of Mad For Each Other tackles a topic that becomes increasingly relevant as more people go online; social media abuse. Vicious rumors begin to circulate about Min-kyung, accusing her of being a gold-digger and a homewrecker. Her misfortune doesn't stop there, as the Women's Associations want to evict Min-kyung over said rumors.
Hwi-oh takes matters into his hands and asks Min-kuyng's neighbors to take responsibility regarding their behavior towards her. Hwi-oh finally shows that he's her ally. His intervention encourages the women's association to fact-check, and they eventually stop trying to evict her and offer for her to join them, so the episode ends in a positive light.
