Mace Windu Getting His Own Star Wars Black Series Figure

After a wave of Solo figures, Hasbro's Star Wars Black Series is now moving on to some more prequel era characters. We've just recently gotten the reveal of Padme Amidala in figure form, and now we have a look at the upcoming figure of Samuel L. Jackson's Mace Windu.

Unlike other Jedi figures, Windu looks to be coming with a cape, and he's going to feature some of the photo-real tech that the new Hasbro figures have been getting recently. Windu has always been a fan favorite from the prequel trilogy, and it would be amazing to finally have him come to collector's shelves.

If anything, Windu would look great next to the Black Series Jango Fett which has been out for a while now. Besides that, I guess we could wait for a Count Dooku or a Palpatine figure so you can some of Dooku's more iconic scenes from Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

Besides Windu, we should be expecting the release of Padme sometime next year along with a standard unit battle droid. There have also been some photos of the upcoming General Grievous figure as well as clone general Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Though the prequel films get a lot of hate from ‘true' Star Wars fans, a good chunk of the fandom still embraces the movies wholeheartedly. Good thing Hasbro hasn't forgotten about them.

No release date has been set for this Mace Windu, but he should be coming out sometime next year.
