Ma Dong Seok is officially back in the South Korean film industry with the upcoming film, The Outlaws 2.
The new installment to the 2017 hit action film is coming back through The Outlaws 2. The movie explores the legendary detective Ma Seok Do’s life as he fights to eradicate crime alongside his violent crimes squad.
In the new flick, he faces super villain Kang Hae Sang, who has been committing crimes across Vietnam.
Ma Dong Seok reprises his role, Ma Seok Do, as he works with Choi Gwi Hwa, Heo Dong Won, Ha Jun, and Park Ji Hwan.
Ahead of its release this week, Ma Dong Seok shared his thoughts about his co-stars and the film itself.

Ma Dong Seok Shares What Fans Should Expect From the Series
The Eternals actor recently sat for an interview and shared more details about The Outlaws 2 and its cast members.
Per Ma Dong Seok, his and Son Seok Gu’s characters are the highlight of the sequel. He revealed that they studied how to transform their synergy on set into action. His co-star also showed commendable action scenes due to his fighting style.
He also showered his other co-stars with compliments, applauding the teamwork they shared on set.

“Even though the team got back together for the first time in a long time, it was easy to act together since we’re friends who can communicate just using our eyes. Although some ad-libs appeared thanks to our good teamwork, we mostly stuck with the outline of the script,” he said.
Ma Dong Seok noted that his co-stars are all veterans who know how to combine comedy and action for the series. He also praised the actors he worked with in Vietnam.
Because of those people, he had fun watching the film.
Ma Dong Seok Says He’s Lucky To Take Roles in Several Films
With the arrival of The Outlaws 2, Ma Dong Seok now feels grateful after scoring the opportunity to score roles in several films.
Although it has been exhausting for him, his only goal is to get his job done since it has always been his greatest driving force. The actor also wished to share the same fighting spirit with the viewers.
“Now that social distancing restrictions are lightening up, I hope that a lot of people can gather to enjoy the film like before. In addition to this film, I hope other films can do well also and lend strength to the film industry,” he continued.
The Outlaws 2 premieres on May 18.
