Lupita Nyong'o Battles Zombies While Protecting Kids in New Little Monsters Trailer

The first trailer for the Australian horror-comedy film Little Monsters has been released this week after premiering at Sundance earlier this year. The trailer features Lupita Nyong'o as the optimistic elementary school teacher Miss Caroline, who is taking a group of kids on a field trip to a petting zoo. The day starts off normally but when zombies arrive, things start to go crazy. It turns out that the army base next to the petting zoo had a series of experiments gone awry, creating a zombie virus that spreads fast.

Miss Caroline and her co-chaperone Dave (Alexander England) battle the zombies to protect the kids. What they didn't expect was Teddy McGiggle (Josh Gad), an obnoxious children's television personality who shacks up with them in the petting zoo gift shop and shapes the excursion's activities.

The trailer becomes silly when Miss Caroline tries to calm the kids with her ukelele and the other part shows her using a weapon to kill a bunch of zombies while wearing her yellow sundress.

Little Monsters is set to release in the UK on November 5, and it will be released in U.S. theaters on November 15.
