Lucifer Star Says [SPOILERS] Will Still Return in Season 6

There is little doubt that the second part of Lucifer Season 5 has been shocking for fans. However, it looks like viewers will continue to be surprised in Season 6. Kevin Alejandro has just revealed that a certain character will be back in the final season despite what happened in the Netflix series.

In Season 5's penultimate episode Is This Really How It's Going To End?, Michael succeeded in killing Dan Espinoza to make Chloe feel guilty and condemn her soul to Hell. It was a shocking development in the series considering that fans were hoping that Dan would continue to appear in Season 6. However, Alejandro seems confident that we haven't seen the last of Dan just yet.

Alejandro recently spoke to ET Online where he confirmed he had worked on Season 6. However, he didn't reveal too much about Dan's return.

"It could be through flashbacks, it could be through trying to decide what's going on," Alejandro said. "I was on set a little bit in Season 6, so he's coming back... just not the way everyone thinks he's coming back."

He continued by sharing a bit of what fans can look forward to in the final season.

"I would describe Season 6 as a genuine emerge to what we've created from the beginning. There are throwbacks and clues to other episodes that only you if you've followed our journey from the beginning you'll pick up on," Alejandro said.

We're certainly hoping that Dan gets a proper send-off in Lucifer Season 6. After all, it was revealed that he had ended up in Hell. Hopefully, Dan gets a better conclusion in the final season.

The second part of Lucifer Season 5 is now streaming on Netflix.
