Lucifer fans will be glad to know that they're kicking off the holidays with great news!

According to TV Time's recent report, Lucifer is named the most-watched streaming series of 2019. Netflix certainly had a great run this year with the top 20 shows belonging to the streaming giant. Well, except for one, which is Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale.

This list truly shows what the viewers desire with Lucifer topping the list. Stranger Things took second place, followed by 13 Reasons Why, Money Heist, and Orange Is the New Black.

Showrunners Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson, and Tom Ellis took to Twitter to share the great news and has expressed their gratitude to the loyal viewers of the show.

Lucifer actually got the No. 1 spot for TV Time's Binge Report for around two months as well. After being canceled on Fox and heading to Netflix, it has proved to be a successful show with such a dedicated fanbase.

The fans are certainly excited for the fifth season. Not to mention Lucifer's surprise cameo in the third part of Crisis on Infinite Earths despite denying the rumors. Needless to say, viewers are totally hyped to see Ellis play the character again.

The fifth and final season of Lucifer is currently in production and is expected to air on Netflix by 2020. This particular season will be split into two parts, but the release dates are yet to be announced.
