Lucasfilm's Pablo Hidalgo Shares 'Star Wars: Bloodline' Behind-the-Scenes Details


Claudia Gray's novel Star Wars: Bloodline hit shelves last week, and has been met with near universal praise. Set approximately six years before the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the novel centers on Leia Organa's experience as a New Republic Senator. Star Wars: Episode VIII director Rian Johnson contributed to the novel, so there might be relevant details in Bloodline that would connet to the novel. On Sunday, Lucasfilm creative executive (and member of the Lucasfilm Story Group) Pablo Hidalgo tweeted some behind-the-scenes non-spoilery details about what went into the creation of the novel, includign where Johnson's input ended up in the story. I thought the most intriguing of these details is the "Star Wars House of Cards". What left to wonder what details from Johnson would make their way to Episode VIII, which is set to release in theaters on Dec. 15, 2017.
