The final trailer for J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was just recently released. And while the fans have expressed their excitement for the upcoming film, actors and filmmakers from the franchise also shared their thoughts via Twitter. Including the likes of Ian McDiarmid, Anthony Daniels, Rian Johnson, and Ava DuVernay. However, how do you think Geroge Lucas would react towards the new trailer?

A new deep fake video by Collider shows us George Lucas' thoughts about the trailer. Lucas was complaining in most of the video and is dropping some diss about the upcoming movie. He even said that he's "relieved" because he didn't make The Rise of Skywalker, so he's "ultimately not to blame."

As the music fades in, Lucas said, "You know what that sound is?" He jokingly adds, "That's the sound of a thousand executives just taking a s*** on my work." He also pointed out the part where the trailer shows the words "THE SAGA WILL END," and proceeds to say "Thank god, put it out of its misery."

He mentioned that his favorite part of the trailer was the beginning because it showed his name, pertaining to the Lucasfilm logo shown in the first part of the video. When he was watching the trailer, he sighs, and states, "I can actually feel my life essence draining watching this."

One joke that the fans particularly liked was when he said that the trailer makes the Attack of the Clones look like Citizen Kane. And that a lightsaber should be put into the saga's head because "it's time to put it to bed." You can watch the deep fake video below:

Obviously, it isn't the Star Wars creator himself, and the clip was only made for fun. However, it has been known that Lucas expressed his disappointment towards the new trilogy in the past. It was even revealed that he thinks "there's nothing new" in The Force Awakens when he initially saw the movie.
