Love All Play Episode 3, which stars Chae Jong Hyeop and Park Ju Hyun, delivered a touching story behind the badminton prodigy’s downfall.

On the other hand, the viewership rating for the KBS2 series fell short compared to its previous episode.

Love All Play Viewership Rating

As noted by Nielsen Korea, Love All Play Episode 3 plummets to an average nationwide rating of 1.7 percent, making it the lowest viewership rating since the K-drama aired on April 20.

To recall, the Wednesday and Thursday K-drama premiered with 1.9 percent, followed by a 1.8 percent on its second episode, noting that the sports-themed series is struggling to match with other programs in the same time slot.

Love All Play Episode 3 Recap: Park Tae Yang and Park Tae Joon Officially A Mixed Doubles Partners

Despite the plummeting ratings for Love All Play Episode 3, Park Tae Yang (Park Ju Hyun) and Park Tae Joon (Chae Jong Hyeop), fondly called by their coach as the Park-Park twins, officially made it as a mixed double partner.

The good news definitely made the former badminton prodigy thrilled, knowing that she would be able to get training with a real match.

However, as the duo was about to start their training, Yook Jung Hwan (Kim Moo Joon) decided to ruin the fun and wanted to have a match and unexpectedly chose Lee Yoo Min (Seo Ji Hye) who is the daughter of the Yunis team coach.

Struggling to keep up the pace, Tae Joon remembered what Tae Yang’s father had told him. In order to get her hyped up for the game, he has to make her feel angry inside.

By doing this, he said harsh words toward Tae Yang, and surprisingly, it worked. Despite being pumped up with the game, Tae Joon sees that they are losing, so he makes a scene.

He pretended to hurt his ankle so they could win the game and make Tae Yang not feel bad about herself.

Park Tae Yang’s Past Uncovered

Another highlight of Love All Play Episode 3 is the reason behind her three-year hiatus.

Although it was not completely shown in the latest episode, Park Tae Yang’s badminton career was cut short because of an accident involving her sister, who is also a skilled badminton player.

In one scene, Tae Yang invited her sister to go snowboarding and as a surprise, she brought them cans of beer.

Feeling a little drunk, she followed her sister, Park Jun Young (Park Ji Hyun), but they crashed into each other, resulting in an emergency situation.

As the drama continued, it showed that she needed therapy for her to recover and get back to the game.

Moreover, the siblings and Jun Young’s then-boyfriend, Yook Jung Hwan, agreed to hide the true reason behind the accident and mentioned to the press that it was a sports-related incident.

At the present time, Jung Hwan confronts Tae Yang and admits that he hates how she was able to forget what happened to her sister.

It was revealed in the story that Jun Young is no longer seeing either of the two, even her father.

Park Tae Yang’s Confession

In the latter episode of Love All Play, Park Tae Yang revealed how she truly feels about her newfound friendship with Park Tae Joon.

She confessed being happy around him, which made her uncomfortable, raising the question that she might have feelings for her badminton partner.
