On June 23, News Korea 1 shared a copy of Blockberry Creative’s official statement regarding the rumors about Chuu, including her alleged plan to sign with another agency.

According to the company, the claims were groundless. Still, it acknowledged the fact that it caused concerns among fans and the public, although Chuu or the agency did not release an official statement.

“Some articles have confused fans and the public with the expression of officials of the related person, even though the contents related to Chuu, a member of LOONA, are groundless. There is no position of the company or individual member. We again announce that we will actively respond to unknown facts or unilateral articles and comments that damage the reputation of the company and its members,” it said.

LOONA will reportedly outshine the reports as the girl group is scheduled to promote its summer special mini-album, Flip That.

What Did Rumors Say About Chuu?

Blockberry Creative’s statement came after several rumors regarding Chuu and the agency surfaced.

It all started when her fansite disclosed that the K-pop idol had to ride on public transportations to go to her appointments since Blockberry Creative refused to accompany her.

There was also, allegedly, a time when she was left alone to ride a KakaoTaxi while the LOONA members rode the company’s van to go to the filming location of Weekly Idol.

The fansite pledged to release photographic evidence to prove its claims.

Meanwhile, the K-pop idol herself has not addressed the issues.
