Loki Writer Shares Awesome He Who Remains BTS Photo, Praises Jonathan Majors' Performance

There is little doubt that the Loki Season 1 finale gave fans exactly what they were asking for: a villain who is just as charming and even more powerful than the God of Mischief.

Not surprisingly, everyone is loving Jonathan Majors' performance as He Who Remains, and that includes series writer Eric Martin, who just shared an awesome behind-the-scenes photo of Kang the Conqueror.

Martin had hosted a Loki finale watch party where he live-tweeted his reaction to Episode 6. Naturally, the writer had great things to say about Majors and he shared a cool photo of the Lovecraft Country star in action. Check it out below.

Martin also stated that Majors was perfect for the role of Kang as he fit their vision of the villain.

"We wanted He Who Remains had to be odd, but bold and brash. Almost like a young tech CEO. As much a genius as they are charlatan," Martin tweeted. "But it's all talking, so we knew we needed someone with intense Charisma. Jonathan blew us all away."

It's no surprise that even the people behind Loki were impressed with Majors' performance. After all, Majors has already proven that he is one of the most captivating actors in the industry today. Needless to say, his casting as He Who Remains was an inspired decision.

For now, it is unclear if Majors will appear in other Marvel Cinematic Universe shows and films. He is only confirmed for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania where he will return as Kang. In the meantime, you can watch him in action in the Loki Season 1 finale, which is now streaming on Disney+.
