The much-talked-about premiere episode of Marvel Studios' Loki revolved around the mystery surrounding the variant who has been wreaking havoc across the sacred timeline. In Episode 2, the identity of the hooded individual is finally revealed as Loki himself crosses paths with the said variant who is apparently him from a different timeline. "The Variant" begins with Loki preparing for his new mission as a Time Variance Authority agent and despite the skepticism from Judge Renslayer and the rest of the TVA, Mobius' decision to add Loki to his "team" proved to be a risk worth taking (well, sort of) with the God of Mischief successful in tracking down his variant version.

However, a lot of people are convinced right off the bat that she's not exactly who she seems to be. For starters, they believe that "Lady Loki" looks nothing like her comic book counterpart due to the fact that she sports blonde hair. There's also one scene in the episode where she tells Loki to stop calling her by his name which seemed to fuel more doubt about her being Loki's female counterpart.

Obviously, those are just baseless assumptions about the character but leave it up to the folks over at Disney to do the "spoiling" of their own. In the end credits for the Spanish dub of Episode 2, voice actress Elisa Beuter is credited as "Sylvie" rather than "The Variant." The name, of course, rings a bell to diehard Marvel fans as "Sylvie" is none other than Sylvie Lushton aka Enchantress, a character who shared quite the history with Loki.

In the comics, Lushton is best-known as the second person to take up the mantle of Enchantress, basing herself on the original Enchantress Amore. Sylvie used to be a normal human being until the God of Mischief gave her magical powers. This new revelation just made things a lot more complicated than they already are but the surprise addition of Enchantress is definitely a welcome surprise not many people saw coming. The real question is, does Lady Loki even exist in the series? Is there a chance that she'll still show up? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
