Logan and Loki Team-Up for Infinity Stone Business in February's Wolverine: Infinity Watch

There is a lot of mystery that is surrounding Wolverine's return and why exactly he has been involved with so much cosmic business. When he returned during Marvel Legacy #1, fans were shocked to see him kill some Ice Giants and take an Infinity Stone. Return of Wolverine doesn't appear to be answering these questions but it looks like all will soon be revealed in February's Wolverine: Infinity Watch.

According to Marvel.com, the series will be written by Infinity Wars writer Gerry Duggan and drawn by Andy MacDonald. Aside from promising a team-up between the veteran X-Man and the God of Mischief, nothing else is known about the mini-series. While it's good to know that the series will follow-up on his mysterious appearances in Marvel Legacy and Infinity Countdown, a bit more info would be nice.

Knowing that these two will be teaming up is going to be interesting since Logan sliced Loki up really nice in Infinity Countdown. It looks like this mini-series will expand on their relationship and why Wolverine decided to slice up Loki in the first place. Here is hoping that the two have a fun little series together, which seems guaranteed given that Duggan is writing it.

When Duggan was asked about the series, all he said was "…THE NEW COSMIC STATUS QUO WILL DEMAND...WATCHING…," which is pretty vague. Now that we have this and January's Guardians of the Galaxy relaunch, it looks like the cosmic side of Marvel is about to get more interesting.

Wolverine: Infinity Watch #1 comes out on February 2019.
