Living with Yourself: First Look at Netflix Series Starring Two Paul Rudds

Paul Rudd's Ant-Man came out to be the darling of Avengers: Endgame and Rudd is set to be in the next Ghostbusters movie as well. What's interesting is, Rudd has teamed up with Netflix for a show called Living with Yourself and it has Rudd acting opposite Paul Rudd.

Here are the first stills from Netflix:

Entertainment Weekly also gives us the premise of the show:

Living With Yourself features Rudd as Miles, a man who is struggling in his marriage and work life. When a colleague tips him off about a mysterious spa treatment that will turn him into a better person, he agrees to undergo the procedure and… well, suddenly he discovers that a new and decidedly improved version of himself has been unleashed into the world.

What's funny is that it sounds like a premise from a Rick and Morty episode, specifically Rest and Ricklaxation, where Rick and Morty enter an alien spa to have their toxins removed; shenanigans ensue when it's revealed that the "toxic Rick and Morty" had minds of their own and try to take over the "normal" world.

While the "one actor plays multiple roles" has been done several times, I'm interested to see what kind of tone this show will take. Rudd is known for his comedic roles at best, but he can also play some pretty grounded characters as well. I personally loved how emotional (and hilarious) Our Idiot Brother got.

All eight episodes of Living With Yourself are set to come out on Netflix on Oct. 18.
