Listen to Taika Waititi’s IG-11 Speak in New Mandalorian TV Spot

Disney+ comes out tomorrow, and that also means the premiere of the highly anticipated The Mandalorian. One character everyone is excited to meet is IG-11 voiced by Taika Waititi, and we finally get to hear him speak in the latest TV spot.

He doesn't really say much other than "The Mandalorian", but we already have a clue of how muffled and mechanical IG-11's voice is going to come out on the show. What I want to know is if he's going to be having Waititi's Kiwi accent, because it adds so much to his character. Then they could hire Waititi's old collaborator Jemaine Clement to voice the more infamous IG-88 when they plan to bring that character into the show.

We have no details yet on how IG-11 will come into play in the series, but we do know that he's a formidable fighter who ends up teaming with the titular Mandalorian. Hopefully, he appears for more than one episode, because the show hasn't even come out yet, and a lot of people are already big fans of Waititi's Star Wars character.

The Mandalorian is the first live-action Star Wars show and a lot of people are excited to see what Jon Favreau has brought to the table. Though streaming services releases shows a season at a time, Disney is going the more traditional format and giving out one episode a week.

The Mandalorian is set to debut on Disney+ on Nov. 12.
