Liam Neeson has been Cast in the Kingsman Prequel

While we're still getting a third Kingsman movie that will end the arc between Eggsy and Harry, we're also going to get a prequel film that's set to come out early next year. Just in, the movie has cast another well-known English actor, Liam Neeson.

This was confirmed by Deadline who says that Neeson has been cast in Kingsman: The Great Game. We don't have any details on what his role will be, but we already know Neeson can play a slick badass in a secret organization. Later this year, he'll be playing the head of the London MIB in Men in Black: International.

Besides Neeson, the movie is also set to have appearances from Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Charles Dance, Ralph Fiennes, Mathew Goode, Stanley Tucci, Gemma Arterton, Djimon Hounsou, and many more.

Matthew Vaughn, who directed the past two Kingsman movies, is also returning to direct this prequel, so I'm guessing this will have some strong impact to the "main" story involving Harry and Eggsy. Then again, I'm all up for one self-contained adventure.

We don't have a full synopsis for the movie yet, but this is the premise that we have for now:

"The young, cocky and charming son of a British Duke, Conrad (Harris Dickinson) is eager to find a way to serve his country during World War I… and perhaps the Kingsman offer him just that opportunity."

Catch Kingsman: The Great Game in theaters Feb. 14, 2020.
