Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga looks like it will be one of the better Star Wars games of recent memory, with the possibility of also becoming a great Lego title in its own right. While we would like more gameplay from this highly-anticipated Lego Star Wars game, which will have a new over-the-shoulder camera system and improved combat, finding out about a cool bonus for those that pre-order games is also pretty cool.
Thanks to Best Buy, we now know that pre-ordering the game will come with a steelbook case that pays tribute to the time Han Solo was frozen in carbonite, which continues to be one of the most iconic images from Star Wars history. It's pretty fun seeing a pretty dark part from the original trilogy with a Lego version of Han Solo, which is kind of cute for some reason.
While not the best steelbook in gaming history, this is definitely something that would appeal to Star Wars fans, which is, dare we say, the demographic this video game is aiming for. Even as a casual Star Wars fan, this is something I might pre-order since it's such a cool thing to own. If you're interested, consider pre-ordering the game from Best Buy since they will make these steel book cases for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
As of this writing, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga does not have a proper release date, though it will be coming out later this year. There are reports claiming that it will be coming out this October but we'll have to wait and see.
