LEGO Announces Millennium Falcon Cockpit as SDCC 2018 Exclusive

There are a lot of reasons to go to the San Diego Comic-Con, but a lot of collectors usually come for the exclusive goods that companies pump out for the event. Hasbro already has a bunch of Star Wars material ready for SDCC 2018, and now LEGO has announced an exclusive Star Wars kit as well.

This cockpit looks to be based on the Falcon from Solo: A Star Wars Story, and features Han in his brown jacket and Chewie with the double bandolier. You'll also see the newer chairs in the back that are still yellow (they barely have color in the Original Trilogy).

Though I think it's a fun kit, I think LEGO could have added a bit more to it. They could have given it a cover very much like the Falcon's windshield. I would have also loved minifigures of Qi'Ra and Lando to come along with the kit.

Then again, the duo of Han and Chewie is fun enough, and I think the box art is fun. I'm sure there will be some collectors who want to get their hands on this set come SDCC next month.

SDCC 2018 takes place from July 19–22.
