LEGO Adventure Time Revealed

LEGO has announced that they could be releasing Adventure Time figures soon.

The announcement came as a result of a project called LEGO Ideas, asking fans their ideas for new toy figures for the company. The latest results are from participants that submitted their concepts between May and September 2015. Participants had to garner at least 10,000 votes from the community before they are seen qualified to receive the review.

The LEGO Adventure Time idea is part of the second 2015 review results, which went through a total of 9 finalists.

As seen in the LEGO Ideas blog, the finalists include Adventure Time, Lego Physics, The Little Prince, The Hobbit-Rivendell, Caterham Super Seven, and the Stay Puft marshmallow man from the Ghostbusters, among others. Of the 9 finalists, only 2 made the second cut. They are Adventure Time by BetterMonkey and Caterham Super Seven by Carl Greatrix.

Take a look at the video announcement from the LEGO® Ideas Team:

The deadline for the final sets remains to be known, but the two designers are already hard at work to finish their projects.

The LEGO Adventure Time set includes 15 characters from the animated series like Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, Lady Rainicorn, and The Ice King. BetterMonkey crafted the characters using 640 bricks.

Personally, I like Adventure Time better. A LEGO car design is kind of worn out.

The next LEGO review will be held this Spring.
