Lee Sung Kyung is set to star in a back-to-back K-drama and might join Kim Young Kwang in K-drama Tell Me It's Love.

The upcoming series is a romantic drama that focuses on a man and woman's revenge. However, due to unforeseeable circumstances, they kiss and make up and forget the disagreements they once had.

The upcoming K-drama will highlight how these two characters will grow and change as the story progresses.

Kim Young Kwang Confirms Appearance in Tell Me It's Love

With the drama's interesting storyline, Kim Young Kwang has confirmed his appearance to star as the main character in Tell Me It's Love.

As cited by Joy News24, the actor's agency, Wide S Company, announced that the upcoming series will be his new drama and has recently started filming some scenes.

Kim Young Kwang, who headlined the cast of the rom-com fantasy series Hello, Me and Pinocchio, took on the role of Han Dong Jin, who drowns himself at work to fight the feeling of loneliness.

He chose to detach from life after feeling encountering heartaches and struggles.

Apart from Tell Me It's Love, Kim Young Kwang will also star in his K-drama comeback, Somebody, which is based on the 2000 American movie Psycho.

Joining him are Kang Hae Lim, Kim Yong Ji, and rookie actress Kim Soo Yeon as the lead stars.

To recall, Kim Young Kwang's last series was the 2021 Hello, Me! with Choi Kang Hee.

On the other hand, while the 35-year-old actor announces his decision to lead the cast lineup, Lee Sung Kyung has been offered to play the female lead.

According to Newsen, the model-actress has been selected to star opposite Kim Young Kwang. Per the actress' agency, YG Entertainment, the 31-year-old star is "positively reviewing" her appearance in Tell Me It's Love.

If Lee Sung Kyung officially accepts the offer, she will play the role of the revenge-driven Shim Woo Joo.

Due to her family's issue, she decides to take revenge on Han Dong Jin, who greatly affected her life. However, her plan changed after getting to know him more and shuts out her thirst for vengeance.

While the cast lineup is still in talks, the upcoming K-drama Tell Me It's Love to possibly release through an OTT platform and is planned to premiere in the first half of 2023.

Lee Sung Kyung on Her Team Up with Kim Young Dae in Shooting Stars

During the press conference of Kim Young Dae and Lee Sung Kyung's new drama, Shooting Stars, the lead stars shared their thoughts and experience filming the rom-com.

As cited by Soompi, the female lead said that she felt like a member of the PR team, Star Force Entertainment, upon reading the script.

"The scriptwriter portrayed it well with attention to detail. I related a lot to it because the drama captured realistic details and the difficulties experienced by my entertainment agency family who work by my side," she said.

Set to premiere on April 22, Lee Sung Kyung played the role of PR team leader Oh Han Byul whose client is the sought-after star Gong Tae Sung, portrayed by Kim Young Dae.

Meanwhile, the rising star spoke about working with the model-actress. At the press conference, The Penthouse actor said he learned a lot with Lee Sung Kyung and Yoon Jong Hoon, who are both his seniors and top stars.
