2PM Lee Junho will appear in more TV shows and films soon.

Although he began his career as a member of the K-pop boy group, 2PM, Lee Junho found more spotlight when he pursued acting. He first shared his acting skills in the 2013 Korean movie, Cold Eyes, which opened more doors for him.

So far, he has nearly 20 titles under his belt, and he might reach a hundred sooner than expected after the success of The Red Sleeve.

Lee Junho Reveals He Received Offers After The Red Sleeve

Lee Junho recently appeared on the hit tvN’s variety show, Yoo Quiz on the Block, and talked to Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho about his acting career and idol life.

He revealed during the June 29 broadcast that he, indeed, received so many drama scripts after his commendable performance in The Red Sleeve.

“Thankfully, so many people are [offering me roles] that it takes me a long time to read and review [the scripts],” he said.

He shocked the show’s hosts by saying that he received around 100 scripts.

The Red Sleeve disclosed that it spent 16 billion KRW (~$12 million) during its production. It was worth it, though, as it garnered high ratings throughout its episodes. In fact, it became the first MBC drama to surpass a 15 percent of viewership rating in 16 years by scoring 17.4 percent through its ending and 19.4 percent maximum rating.

Lee Junho Wanted to Become Actor Earlier Than He Did

Although he is now a successful actor, Lee Junho told Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho that he originally wanted to pursue acting earlier than he did.

However, he got involved in a serious accident while promoting with 2PM. Still, it was a blessing in disguise as it led him to Cold Eyes. While he was not fully recovered at that time, he showed his determination to become part of it, and he continuously scored projects since then.

“I want to keep this set of mind as it is. I don’t want to get shaken, and I don’t want to get tired. I think I’ve matured over the past 15 years because I don’t get too excited, too happy, or too sad,” he said.

At the end of the interview, he gifted the viewers with a snippet of My House.
