Squid Game Actor Lee Jung Jae Melts His Stylist's Heart With a Heartfelt Move at Cannes

Lee Jung Jae knows how to look back at people who helped him to become a successful actor.

After attending ceremonies as part of his appearance in the successful Netflix series Squid Game, Lee Jung Jae attended the 75th Cannes Film Festival, where he debuted as a director.

The South Korean actor made a directorial debut with his film, Hunt, which is being premiered at the event’s Midnight Screenings section.

Lee Jung Jae served as the writer and director of the film, earning praises from the public. However, he gained more after his stylist shared a story about his thoughtful move that melted her and his fans.

Lee Jung Jae Offers Thoughtful Move to His Stylist

On Wednesday, Lee Jung Jae’s stylist shared a photo of her and the actor hugging each other. She also wrote a caption sharing what the actor did to her at Cannes 2022.

According to the stylist, they had a hectic schedule in Cannes, so she was not able to shop for herself at all.

"But as soon as Lee Jung Jae found out about this, he told me that it was okay for me to go out, shop and look around between a shooting. It was so considerate of him. Thanks to his kind and thoughtful move, I was able to enjoy Cannes while I'm here. I saw lots of pretty stuff that it made me really happy. Cannes greatly inspired me too,” she said, per SBS News.

Fans immediately praised Lee Jung Jae for taking care of his staff, too. Some also showered him with compliments for having a warm heart.

Others then shared that they had never heard bad stories about the actor.

Lee Jung Jae Shares His Wins to His Fans

It was not the first time Lee Jung Jae ever made a commendable move.

Even before Squid Game happened, he famously dedicated himself to philanthropy and continues to lend a hand to people in need.

Most recently, in March, he donated 100 million Korean won (around $78,974.90) to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association alongside Jung Woo Sung to aid the victims of the wildfire in Uljin, Gyeongbuk, that spread to Samcheok, Gangwon.
