As the breakthrough star graced Marie Claire for the publication’s latest issue, Lee Jae Wook spoke about the massive success of the tvN series.
As obtained by Soompi, he pointed out the difference between him and his character in Alchemy of Souls and said that he “hasn’t tried anything as desperately as Jang Wook.”
Moreover, shared that he sometimes gets emotional and gets carried away while playing Jang Uk.
“There were many moments when I felt like I was going to cry while playing him,” he said, adding “I experienced overflowing [feelings] in momentary emotions, and I learned the meaning of the word ‘overwhelming’ with my body.”
As for his work ethic and relationship with co-stars, the actor values positivity at work and having the feeling of happiness.
For Lee Jae Wook, he emphasized that he “don’t want to lose the way I work hard to live happily at every moment” and hoped that he “shared positive teamwork with the people I work with on the fun set.”
